Friends of the Performing Arts Center
The Friends of the Performing Arts Center is a non-profit, incorporated group comprised of local citizens with a variety of backgrounds committed to nurturing both cultural and performing arts within the schools and the greater Middleton Area. The FPAC is an all-volunteer board that makes decisions with regard to all performances selected for our yearly concert series. Over the past eleven years, the Friends of the Performing Arts Center has donated over $75,000 of equipment to the Middleton-Cross Plains Area performing arts center at Middleton High School. Some of our performances are sponsored by local businesses, who aid in the mission of supporting and promoting the arts and providing scholarship programs to area students.
The Friends of the Performing Arts Center presents the community with affordable entertainment, provides enrichment development for students in schools, purchases and maintains existing equipment in the venue, and acknowledges high school seniors, who are pursuing an education in the performing arts, with scholarships. Our seasons begin in the fall and end in spring. We provide four to five one night musical shows. Also, each year we bring in Missoula Children's Theater. Two trained directors audition local school age children, cast about 60 and, in a week's time, present two performances.
