Atlas Improv Theatre

Opened in November of 2011, Atlas Improv Theatre is Madison's only Improv Theatre and the home of Atlas Improv Co. Atlas Improv Co has performed in Madison since 2006, and specializes in long-form improvisation, including genre-work, La Ronde, and Armando.

Description of Performance Area

We are a black box theatre with a 12' by 5' stage elevated about 3' off the floor.

Backstage Space

We have a 40 square-foot backstage space with piano and entry points behind the stage and from the theatre's main hallway.

Wing Space

We have an office of 100 square feet located just off the main lobby.

Sound Equipment

Full PA system with 6 CD changer, microphones, two speakers, and mixer.

Lighting Equipment

Full tech setup with lightboard, six lights, and spotlight.

Box Office Services

We have a full array of candies and sodas for sale.

Rental Information

We are currently not renting out our space at this time.

Seating Capacity

We have stackable black chairs and can seat 60 to 65 people.
