Sosire
By Matthew Belopavlovich
Directed by Matthew Belopavlovich
Sosire is a mix between a Broadway musical and a new age circus. Sosire is the story of a hard-working student who has his nose stuck in school text books all the time. One afternoon the student opens his locker and discovers a daydream hiding. The daydream escapes and transforms the school into an elaborate dream. In the dream lunch food comes to life, bullies turn into monsters, and teachers become cartoons. Finally the student catches the daydream and returns it to the "keeper of daydreams." Sosire is told through cabaret-style acts, circus arts, live music, recorded music, lighting, sets, special effects, and jibberish (no english is used in the show). The acts include Juggling, Irish dance, Korean dance, Skateboarding, Clowning, and Gymnastics. Come and Experience this amazing student production!
The Entire show is created and performed by students of Edgewood High School.
