Rumors
By Neil Simon
Directed by Jewel Fitzgerald
Neil Simon’s adult comedy Rumors tells the story of four couples who are attending a tenth wedding anniversary party at the home of Charley Brock, New York City’s deputy mayor. Yet, the party never begins because the host has shot himself in the head (it is only a flesh wound) and his wife is missing. Worried about the mayor’s reputation, his lawyer decides on a cover-up, which becomes increasingly difficult as the other couples arrive. Events begin to spiral out of control when the police arrive and the couples get more and more crazed trying to sort everything out.
