This performance is for the Children's Arts Festival celebrated by the Overture Center.

Meenakshi Ganesan and her Kalaanjali Dance School will be presenting Bharatanatyam - Indian Classical Dance from southern part of India. Kalaanjali dancers will present Jyoti - The Lamp, a pure classical
Bharatanatyam presentation depicting the talent in every artist which is like a lamp that needs to be kept burning. This presentation will showcase rich Indian tradition, heritage, culture, rhythmic patterns and lively
expressions. Dancers of various age groups will present this specially directed production for the children's art festival at the overture center. The ethnic music and traditional costumes have been specially brought from India. For more information please visit www.kalaanjali.com.
