Richard II
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Richard and Anne DiPrima
This summer, we will "tell sad stories of the death of kings" — two of the most famous Shakespeare ever told. Early in the summer, YSP will again present King Richard II— the lyrical and intensely beautiful story of a bad king who becomes a great victim. This tale, told in some of the most beautiful language ever written, begins the era of history about which Shakespeare wrote most of his History Plays.
