Undertow: The Musical

Set at the beach and in the high school of a fictitious American coastal town, the show takes a campy, comedic and ultimately inspiring look at life as a teenage outcast who hopes the greatest scientific discovery of the age will help him land the girl next door.

Verona Area Community Theater is pleased to announce auditions for a VACT Original Production, Undertow: The Musical, written and directed by Karl Curtis. Auditions will be Monday and Wednesday, August 8th & 10th at the VACT Rehearsal Building, 405 Bruce St., (not the PAC), beginning at 6:30 p.m. Please prepare 30 seconds or less of a song to sing for your audition. Be prepared to learn and perform a brief dance audition. Callbacks for lead roles will be Thursday, August 11th. Show dates are October 14 - 22, 2011.
