“Three Viewings” is a darkly funny and touching set of three short plays that take place at a funeral parlor in a small town.
This show features veteran Redbud performers James Steffen, Ann Taurick, and Carla Woebbeking. Each actor will present one of the three stories as a monologue. “Tell Tale” brings us the private thoughts of Emil played by James Steffen, a respected mortician who is desperately in love with a beautiful real-estate agent who markets to the bereaved. In “Thief of Tears,” Mac (played by Carla Woebbeking) is a jewelry thief who is coming to terms with her unusual lifestyle. And in “Thirteen Things about Ed Carpolotti,” actress Ann Taurick plays a grieving widow who is learning some interesting secrets about her recently deceased husband.
