Baraboo Theatre Guild presents The Prince of Egypt!

Based on the classic DreamWorks Animation film and featuring Stephen Schwartz’s miraculous music – including his Academy Award®-winning song ‘When You Believe’, this musical tells an inspiring tale of resilience and hope.

Location: BTG Headquarters (in the Baraboo Arts Convention Center)

The entrance is in the back of the building off of East Street.

All audition materials will be provided. No preparation necessary!

Audition Information for Children in Grades 3-8
There are a few very small, mostly non-speaking roles for children

4 Roles for Girls:

💠2 roles have short solos and small character parts with no speaking
💠2 roles share a short duet and each has a character part with some speaking
💠All 4 roles include minimal chorus singing/dancing near the end of the show

4 Roles for Boys:

💠All 4 roles consist of minimal chorus singing/dancing near the end of the show
💠All 4 roles are non-speaking parts
Children’s auditions are to be submitted via video to princeofegypt@barabootheatreguild.org by Thursday, July 31 and should include:
✅Parent/guardian name, email, mailing address, cell number
✅Short description of child’s theater, dance, and singing experience, if any
✅Inflexible time commitments (ex. church Wed. 6-8, piano Tues. 5-5:30, etc)
✅Child introducing himself/herself including full name, age, grade, height
✅Child singing “Do-Re-Mi” chorus (link in comments) accompanied or unaccompanied
✅Girls only: reading Leah (with partner reading other parts) from script (link in comments)
