The Pain And The Itch
By Bruce Norris
Directed by George Gonzalez
During a holiday gathering with Clay and Kelly's extended family, their daughter’s nasty genital itch serves as a catalyst to reveal uncomfortable truths, including fraternal hatred, infidelity, a failed marriage, and venereal disease. As the story is narrated to their visitor, his relationship to the events become clear – as does the emptiness of the families supposed benevolence and sensitivity.
Did we mention it’s a comedy?!
