The House on Haunted Hill
By Tommy Jamerson
Directed by Penny Zobel
You as the audience are cordially invited to a party to die for. Adapted from the Vincent Price classic, the clever script tells the twisted tale of millionaire Frederick Lauren, his fourth wife, and five money-hungry guests who will each receive fifty thousand dollars if they stay in a supposedly haunted house until sunrise. Filled with double crosses, jilted lovers, a wicked sense of humor, and a restless spirt or two, Haunted Hill proves to be a night to remember.
A true community collaboration, the performance showcases Presque Isle’s Rich Schmalzer, Richard Phillips, Pam Eschenbauch, Mary Watkins and Dave Vogt. From Boulder Junction is Cyndi Radant. From Winchester Kath Wilson, Darrell Smith, Dick Smith and Penny Zobel, first time director. From Mani Waters, Nancy Hajt, with technical assistance from Sarah Krembs and Tom Erickson. Fan favorite Babs Bolduc hails from Lake Gogebic, and newcomer Dan Lee is from Springstead.
