Holiday time at North Florida's Armadillo Acres means everyone's filled with warmth and beer. But when a freak bout of amnesia strikes the trailer park Scrooge, neighborly love is put to the test. With Betty, Lin and Pickles on hand to amp up the fracas and festivity, this all-new, all-trailer-park musical is just as much of a cat-fightin', sun-worshippin', chair-throwin' good time as the original -- but with tinsel and Keg Nog.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Please prepare a song (contemporary musical theatre or country rock style is suggested) and provi de sheet music for the accompanist. You will also be asked to read from sides of the script and should dress comfortably in case you are asked to stay for the dance portion of the audition. The following roles are available:
Darlene – late 20s to late 30s. A year-round “Scrooge” who hates everybody and everything. But underneath her hard exterior is a wounded girl who once believed in true love and Christmas magic.
Rufus- late 20s to late 30s. Darlene’s neighbor. Best described as a redneck with a heart of gold. Spends most of his downtime fashioning “art” out of found objects like empty beer cans.
Jackson “Jackie” Boudreaux – 40-50 something. A self-made man and an all-American success story. Owner of the thriving local “breastaurant” chain. Unapologetically capitalistic.
Betty- 38-50 something. Armadillo Acres leasing manager. Part hard-ass, part mother hen. Grounded, earthy and dry-witted.
Linoleum - 30s to early 40s. A death row widow having trouble moving on. Spent some time in the ’80s on tour with famed and not-so-famed rockers. The fieriest of all the “girls.”
Pickles- late teens to early 20s. Single mom. New to motherhood. Often tired but still embraces the joy of the holiday season. Airy, wide-eyed and a devout believer in Santa Claus. She is the most airy and wide-eyed.
