Open auditions for the Waukesha Civic Theatre’s production of The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (Abridged) will be held:

Monday, November 6, 2017 starting at 7:00 pm

Tuesday, November 7, 2017 starting at 7:00 pm

Callbacks, if needed, will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm

No appointment is necessary. Auditions will be held at the Waukesha Civic Theatre Building at 264 West Main Street, Waukesha. Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script. If you will not arrive at auditions until 8:30 or later, please contact the theatre so the director can be informed.

William Shakespeare is widely regarded as the greatest playwright in history—but his plays are all so long! The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (abridged) solves that by bringing all 37 plays to life in only 97 minutes! Plus, it’s funny!

All roles are open.
The show is written for three male actors.
However, we would like to explore the option of casting a woman in one of the roles, so women are encouraged to audition if interested. The final casting decision will be made based on the options available at auditions.
There are three roles available for men or women.

The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (Abridged) will run February 2 to 18, 2018, at WCT, including one daytime performance on February 8, so cast and crew need to be available during the day on that day.
