Summerset Festival of the Arts
Directed by Lauren Love, Artistic Director
he Summerset Festival of the Arts is a multi- inter-disciplinary arts celebration intended to immerse and engage artists and visitors in a variety of arts experiences. The festival provides a venue for entertainment and education through the arts, and open the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County campus – inside and out – to performances, workshops, lectures, screenings, exhibits, demonstrations and contests. Programming is collaboratively offered in theater, music, dance, literary arts, film arts, culinary arts, visual arts, and youth arts. Everyone is a participant -- from the artists who perform, display, talk about, demonstrate, and lead workshops to the visitors who enjoy performances, join in hands-on activities, enter contests and learn new skills.
