Auditions will be held on the following days:
6/6/2010Auditions for SOUTH PACIFIC
Four Seasons Theatre will be holding auditions for the non-singing roles in SOUTH PACIFIC on Sunday, June 6 from 1 pm to 2 pm at First United Methodist Church in Madison.
Available roles:
Liat (Non-singing, should look age 16-20 but actual age must be at least 18)
A beautiful Polynesian girl who steals the heart of Joe Cable. Bloody Mary's daughter. Prefer an actress who is Pacific Islander, Asian American, Latina, or African American. Please bring a short monologue if you have one prepared or we'll provide you with something to read.
Capt. George Bracket (40-60)
Commanding officer on the island. Slightly pompous but not without a soft side. Auditionees will read from the script.
Cmdr. William Harbison (25 - 50)
Bracket's right hand man. Can be hot-headed, especially when Billis is concerned. Auditionees will read from the script.

The first cast meeting for the production is June 8 with rehearsals running Sunday through Thursdays starting July 24 and performances at the Wisconsin Union Theater August 20-22. Tony nominee Tom Wopat stars as Emile de Becque and Verona native Alli Foss will be featured as Nellie Forbush.
