Remembering Nancy
REMEMBER NANCY THUROW ON MAY 31st
CTM will host a special evening to honor CTM’s late founder Nancy Thurow. The evening will provide an opportunity for CTM’s extended family of students, actors and friends to share their personal memories and stories.
Dr. Baron Kelly, a former CTM summer drama school teacher who also played the King of Siam in CTM’s 2001 production of “The King and I” will emcee the event.
The evening will kick off with CTM actor Lee Waldhart leading attendees in the “Alexander Technique” and will feature vocal performances by Wendy Hill Jones and Ken Lonnquist. A 10 minute video interview of Nancy Thurow talking about theater and CTM will be shown and scrapbooks, photos and memorabilia featuring Nancy will be on display in the Playhouse lobby. Attendees are welcome to share their favorite personal “Nancy story.”
