This festival celebrates playwrights from each of the states. In 2023, our inaugural year for the festival, we explored the Midwest. In 2024 we’ll be looking at the Northeastern states, with short plays about New York, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.

Auditions for the Our Home States festival of plays, directed by Melissa Minkoff.

This festival celebrates playwrights from each of the states. In 2023, our inaugural year for the festival, we explored the Midwest. In 2024 we’ll be looking at the Northeastern states, with short plays about New York, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.

Auditions will be Sunday, June 2 from 5-7 PM and Monday, June 3 from 6-8 PM at Broom Street Theater, located at 1119 Williamson Street.

Auditions will consist of reading from scripts. No monologue required. We will strive for a supportive, non-competitive audition environment. There are DOZENS of roles we’re looking to plug you into. We’re rooting for you to succeed!
