The loons are back again on Golden Pond and so are Norman and Ethel Thayer, a couple in the twilight years of their marriage. Daughter Chelsea, whom they have not seen for years and whose relationship with her father is stormy, is about to arrive for Norman’s birthday, along with her fiancé and his 13 year old son. Chelsea has decided to leave Billy in her parents’ care while she and her fiancé visit Europe. Norman and Billy become great friends, leading Chelsea to attempt a better relationship with her father.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
Scripts can be checked out at the box office Tuesday-Friday (1-5pm) and Saturday (1-4pm) with a $10 deposit. *No guarantee of availability.*
Auditioners will be asked to fill out an Audition Information Sheet prior to auditions; one may fill this out the night of the auditions or at home ahead of time by downloading the ON GOLDEN POND Audition Form.
SYNOPSIS

Ethel Thayer: 60s-70s; Norman's wife; a caregiver and dear friend
Charlie Martin: 30s-40s; a local delivery-by-boat mailman; a family friend; still single, he has had a life-long crush on Chelsea.
Chelsea Thayer Wayne: 40s; attractive, divorced; tries to deal with her relationship to her father
Billy Ray: early teens; a typical California teenager
Bill Ray: 40s; Chelsea's fiancé and Billy's father; not the outdoors type; tries to make a good impression on her parents
