Nutcracker

Critically hailed as "rich, polished and lavish, an artistic triumph" by the Wisconsin State Journal, The Nutcracker brings the best of both local and national talent together on Overture Stage. An estimated 12,000 people will celebrate the holiday season this year with the magic and wonder of The Nutcracker. Artistic Director W. Earle Smith's choreography, set to Tchaikovsky's beautiful score, gives life to the breathtaking sets and costumes that will enchant children of all ages. Madison Ballet is excited to have Maestro Andrew Sewell and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra provide live musical accompaniment for another great season.
