My Three Angels

Denim ‘n’ Dessert Readers Theatre presents a Christmas comedy! The scene is off Devils Island, a region where the temperature has “dropped” to 104 degrees. Three clever prisoners are on work release as roofers by a humble shopkeeper’s family.

On the way from France is an evil relative whose intention is to oust the father of the family from his business, and his cold-blooded nephew, who is jilting the father's daughter for an heiress.

The convicts—murderers and a swindler—have warm hearts and are passionate believers in true justice. Possessing every criminal art and grace, they set matters right and in doing so redeem themselves as real life angels. The movie starred Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov and Basil Rathbone.

The cast includes Tom Erickson, Tom Preston, Darrell Smith, Dave Vogt, Pam Eschenbauch, Beth Kost, Rich Schmalzer, Mary Watkins, Richard Phillips and Al Eschenbauch. Susie Gawriluk directs, and Dave Edgcomb plays carols.

Volunteers serve complimentary desserts and coffee after the show. The Community Center is at 8306 School Loop Rd up the hill from County Road B in downtown Presque Isle. Call for info.
