Love, Sex and the IRS
By Jane Milmore and William Van Zandt
Directed by Marcia Meise
Jon and Leslie are two out of work musicians living as roomates in Chicago. To save some money at tax time, Jon has been claiming that the two roomates are married. No one suspects until there is a call from Mr. Skinner, an IRS agent. He informs the "couple" that he will be arriving at their apartment to invesigate their tax claims. What ensues will make you laugh until you cry as Jon and Leslie attempt to fool Mr. Skinner. Add to the mix an annoying janitor, a drunk mother and two very angry girlfriends, this comedy has all the elements that our audiences have come to expect and enjoy at the Roxbury Dinner Theater. Filled with twists of fate, sight gags, mistaken identities and hilarious comic lines, you won't want to miss out on an enjoyable evening of great food and plenty of laughter!
