Lobby Hero
By Kenneth Lonergan
Directed by Kelly Fitzgerald
Lobby Hero is a modern comedy about tragedy by Kenneth Lonergan, the award winning writer of You Can Count On Me and Gangs of New York.
Jeff, the night doorman in a Manhattan high-rise, is as clumsy in life as he is in his affections for the rookie cop, Dawn. However, she's only got eyes for her partner Bill, a corrupt cop with a secret of his own. When Jeff's supervisor and mentor William comes to him with a moral dilemma, Jeff's loyalty is put to the test.
Lobby Hero is a vivid and delightfully funny slice of contemporary life following four ordinary people caught up in extraordinary circumstances.

Time: 7:00 PMCharacters:
Jeff---late 20s-30s
The everyman in an extraordinary situation. His comedy comes from his reactions to the difficult situation in which he's been placed by his boss and friend...
William---20s, African American
William is doing his best to do his best. He takes his position seriously and expects everyone, especially Jeff, to fall in line when he gives orders..that doesn't always work out for him.
Bill--late 30s, early 40s
The cop on the beat who is training the rookie cop, Dawn. His years of experience have taught him to side-step the rules when it suits him (and it often suits him).
Dawn--20s
The rookie cop trying to make an impression. She makes a very good impression on Jeff, while she only has eyes for Bill. For audition sides or more information, please email the director, Kelly Fitzgerald at nummycookies2010@gmail.com or the producer, John Siewert at jsiewert79@gmail.com
