Little Shop of horrors is a horror comedy rock musical about a florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. The musical is based on the black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors.

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Date and Time: Wednesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 23rd – Doors open at 5:30pm for
check in. Announcements at 6:00pm and then we will see people in the order that they check in.

Location: All auditions will be held in the VACT Building located at 103 Lincoln St. in Verona.
• Please fill out the required online audition registration form before 8AM on the day of
auditions.
• Please record all known rehearsal conflicts on your online registration form.
• Please be prepared to sing approximately 30 seconds of a musical theater style song with
accompaniment. Please do not sing any songs from Little Shop of Horrors for your
audition.
• Please bring a recent photo, no larger than 4x6, to auditions.
Callbacks will be held Friday, August 24th at 6pm if needed.
Cast List will be posted on WWW.VACT.ORG by Saturday, August 25th.
Instructions for how to accept your part and to pay fees will be located on line as well.

Material Pickup will be at the first rehearsal on Monday, August 27th. Please arrive at 6pm for
this first rehearsal.

Rehearsal Information for Little Shop of Horrors
Little Shop of Horrors will rehearse every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:30pm – 9:00pm starting August
27th.
We will Move in to the VAHS PAC on Saturday, October 13th at 8am
Dress rehearsals will be held at the Verona Area High School Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 14th in the
afternoon or evening, Monday, October 15th and Wednesday, October 17th from 6:00pm – 10:30pm.
Performances will be held in the Verona Area High School Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 18th at
7:30PM, Friday, October 19th at 7:30PM, Saturday October 20th at 2:00PM & 7:30PM and Sunday, October 21st at
2PM
