Looking for a local acting opportunity, but need a flexible schedule? Pile of Cats will hold AUDITIONS for its upcoming shorts collection: LAUGHING JACKDAWS: New Shorts for the Mid 20’s, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, August 23, 24, and 25 starting at 6:30 at St Luke's Episcopal Church, 4011 Major Avenue on Madison’s east side.

All scenes are witty and contemporary, including adult content (no nudity or violence), covering right-now themes of fluid identities and social media codes along with classic battles of the sexes and the foibles of those too smart for the room.

Auditions start at 6:30 at St Luke's Episcopal Church, 4011 Major Avenue on Madison’s east side.

Come prepared to cold read. Featuring a process that relies heavily on actor-director collaboration, Pile of Cats seeks actors of all identities, aged 18 and up. All scenes are witty and contemporary, including adult content (no nudity or violence), covering right-now themes of fluid identities and social media codes along with classic battles of the sexes and the foibles of those too smart for the room.

Performances will follow an atypical schedule. Sunday November 1st is a must, plus there are additional shows in very late September, October, November and early December. Not all shorts will perform at all the shows, so come with your conflicts and, if you’re cast, we’ll sort it all out.
