Auditions
Auditions will be held on the following days:
11/14/2012Actors needed for a new play IDENTITY CRUXES written and directed by Ned O’Reilly. A production of Broom Street Theatre and Yavamaya Wurms, the play will run the last weekend of January and the first weekend of February.
Needed are 2 men, stage age 35 and 40+, and 6 women, stage ages ranging from 17 to 40+. The script examines issues of family, gender, and vocational roles with a whole lot about lifestyle choices and never apologizing for being smart.
If you’re involved in another show, you’ll still be considered. For example, we’re already expecting to work around MTM’s ELEGIES. We’ll start in December and most actors will rehearse two or three times a week until tech, including a slowdown around Christmas. The second weekend will be part of the Rhinoceros Theatre Festival in Chicago.
Auditions will be held Wednesday November 14th starting at 8 p.m. at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center at 953 Jenifer Street in Madison. Expect to read scenes from the script. Call or email Ned O’Reilly to confirm your spot. If you cannot make that evening, contact Ned to set up a different time. Phone: 608-617-4917; Email: Telijah@charter.net
