Guys and Dolls
By Damon Runyon
Four Seasons Theatre caps off their 10th anniversary season with GUYS AND DOLLS, presented in collaboration with the Wisconsin Union Theater. The Shannon Hall stage will be transformed into that most American of cities, New York, peopled with Damon Runyon’s larger-than-life characters: crap-game master Nathan Detroit; his intended-but-14-times-not-wedded fiancée, the showgirl Miss Adelaide; the teetotaler Salvation Army doll, Miss Sarah Brown; and the high-rolling gambler, Sky Masterson. You’ll fall in love all over again with such great Frank Loesser songs as “I’ve Never Been in Love Before”, “Luck Be a Lady”, and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”
Husband and wife team Abby Nichols (Sarah Brown) and Jace Nichols (Sky Masterson) are joined by a talented cast of local performers including Michael Herold as Nathan Detroit, Jessica Jane Witham as Miss Adelaide, Bobby Goderich as Nicely Nicely, John Jajewski as Benny Southstreet, Bart Terrell as Arvide Abernathy, and Amy L. Welk as General Cartwright.
