Good News is a zany salute to College Football in the Roaring 20s! At fictitious Tait University, brainy Connie Lane falls for football hero Tommy Marlowe. Unfortunately, he has his eye on gold-digging vamp Pat McClellan. Their dance-happy songs included "The Best Things in Life are Free" and "The Varsity Drag," a Charleston-style dance number that became an international craze.
