Glorious!
By Peter Quilter
Directed by Norman McPhee
New York socialite Florence Foster Jenkins had a passion for singing, but a disastruos voice that left audiences crying with laughter. Undaunted, the "Diva of Din" not only made bizarre recordings and gave unbelievable recitals in small venues; her ultimate triumph was to fill Carnegie Hall. This glittering comedy tells the true and endaring story of the joyful Madame Jenkins and her devoted friends, who were almost as eccentric as she was.
