Esther's Descendants
By Jan Levine Thal
Directed by Jan Levine Thal
"A ghost. Some gangsters. Roses."
Mother has died after years of alcoholism and dementia. But in the afterlife, she recovers. In fact, death suits the old psychopath, frustrated as she is that the living can't hear her. Her descendants have inherited a crumbling mansion, a swamp, and a bloody past. Can she guide them to brighter days -- and at what cost?
