Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue (Staged Reading)

By Quiara Alegria Hudes

Directed by Orion Risk

Join Madison College Performing Arts for the first of two military-themed staged readings in honor of Veterans Day.

This play tells the story of nineteen-year-old Elliot. A recently anointed hometown hero, Elliot’s leg injury has sent him home from Iraq questioning if he’ll return to war again. While on leave, he learns the stories of his father and grandfather, who served in Korea and Vietnam before him.

This performance will be followed by a talkback with the cast and members of Veteran’s Services and Latino Club.
