Anastasia
By Terrance McNally
Directed by Mark Lefeber
From the 1997 animated big-screen favorite to the 2017 Broadway stage performances and tours since, the story of "Anastasia" captivated audiences worldwide. This enchanting story set in post-WW1 Paris follows Russian-born Anya in her determination to find her home, her family, and her place in the world. The heartwarming soundtrack includes the familiar movie classics, “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December.”
High school students from Beaver Dam and the surrounding communities will impress and inspire you as they transport you through their talented performances. Past performances have been consistently recognized by the Jerry Awards for their excellence. While the performers are high school students, this show draws quite a crowd and you'll often hear audiences exclaim, “I can’t believe they were high schoolers.”
